Contact Pastilo
For setup questions, bug reports, feature requests, beta access, or purchase questions, email support@pastilo.app. For access, deletion, or other data-protection requests, use privacy@pastilo.app.
Include the shortest useful description of what happened, what you expected, and the steps that reproduce it. Please do not include passwords, API keys, private clipboard history, or confidential files.
Setup help
Pastilo supports macOS 14 and later. Open the app from the menu bar, then use ⌘ Shift V to open your history.
Privacy help
For access, deletion, or other data-protection requests, write to privacy@pastilo.app with “Privacy request” in the subject.
Public beta license
Public beta access uses your email to issue and recover a free key; no Pastilo account is required, and no card or automatic charge is involved.
- Use the beta checkout on the Pastilo site and enter your email.
- Copy the license key from the email and paste it into Pastilo’s activation screen.
- The key enables the full Dev edition for 30 days from issue.
- After expiry, Pastilo falls back to Free and keeps your local history and settings. A later Plus or Dev purchase uses a separate license.
If you cannot find your key, use the same email with the key recovery flow or contact support. Include the email used for checkout and a masked key only; never send the full key or clipboard contents.
Quick start
- Launch Pastilo and keep it available from the macOS menu bar.
- Copy a text snippet, link, image, file, or code sample.
- Press ⌘ Shift V to open the menu-bar history.
- Search, select an item with 1–9, and paste it into the active app.
Troubleshooting
Pastilo does not open with the shortcut
Confirm that Pastilo is running in the menu bar. If a macOS permission prompt appears, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and allow Pastilo, then try the shortcut again.
An item does not appear
- Check whether clipboard capture is paused. ⌘ Shift P toggles capture.
- Check filters, tags, pinned items, and the selected content types.
- The source app may mark an item as transient or concealed, which Pastilo is designed to respect.
- Secure items may have expired according to their expiry setting.
- For file and image items, confirm the original file is still available and that macOS permissions allow access.
Paste behaves unexpectedly
Make sure the target app is active and that the selected item is compatible with it. For Sequential Paste, check the order of the queue before pasting and confirm the target app accepts multiple insertions.
How to send a safe report
Please do not send passwords, API keys, access tokens, private clipboard history, customer data, or confidential files. Redact sensitive content before attaching screenshots.
A useful report usually includes:
- Pastilo edition and app version.
- macOS version and the source/target app, if relevant.
- What you did and what you expected to happen.
- Whether the issue happens every time or only with a particular content type.
- A redacted screenshot or short screen recording, if it helps explain the issue.
Privacy and support messages
Support messages are handled so we can respond, investigate the issue, and maintain a reasonable support record. The privacy inbox may contain personal information because it is sent by email. Clipboard content is not sent to a remote service for access checks, and you should not paste it into a support request. See the Privacy Policy for details and data-protection request instructions.
Feedback and feature requests
Tell us what you were trying to accomplish, how often the workflow occurs, and what a successful result would look like. Product feedback may be used in aggregate to improve Pastilo; do not include confidential clipboard content.
